The Conservation Volunteers Alliance promotes conservation volunteering world-wide. It is an international affiliation of organisations dedicated to:

Representing and promoting organisations involved in volunteer based practical conservation work.
Assisting conservation volunteer organisations in structuring policies and procedures.
Helping people access the best and most professional conservation volunteer experiences across the world.

More than one million volunteers around the world are currently represented through the Alliance’s member organisations. These volunteers work within local communities, taking practical hands-on action to conserve and improve the health of our environment.

One of the most important initiatives that the Alliance has developed is a benchmarking and accreditation program that sets quality standards for conservation volunteer organisations. Anyone choosing a conservation volunteer activity with an Alliance benchmarked organisation can feel comfortable that the organisations is committed to provide exciting yet safe and well organised conservation volunteer activities.
